This notice explains how Everabit (Pty) Ltd ("Everabit", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
What we collect
When you submit a brief, a CV, or a general enquiry, we collect the information you provide directly — which may include your name, contact details, employer or role information, CV contents, and any details about a role or project you share with us.
Why we collect it
- To assess your suitability for, or a role's fit against, relevant opportunities.
- To communicate with you about a brief, application, or enquiry.
- To maintain records required for our recruitment engagements.
Retention
We retain candidate and client information for 24 months from your last interaction with us, after which it is deleted unless you have given renewed consent for us to continue holding it.
Who we share it with
Your CV and personal details are shared only with a named client, and only after your explicit consent to that specific introduction. We never sell your information, and we never share it speculatively or in bulk.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting our Information Officer.
